the Crime Investigation Department took three more brokers and 8 students related to PG Medical Entrance Test scam into custody. This has raised the total number of people arrested to 41.

The arrested brokers were Gadde Rambabu of Guntur, Mande Shakeel Ahmed of Dharmavaram in Anantapur and Shiva Prasad Ankegowda of Bangalore. Details of the arrested candidates with their ranks are as follows: G. Krishna Karthik-31, Kaja Neela Harika-54, Radha Reddy Shyamala-60, Keerthi Chowdary-79, Lanka Prathyusha-80, Phaneeshri Alaparthi-94, Bharath Chandra-110 and Shaik Hussain Basha-263. All of them were M.B.B.S. degree holders and appeared for the test to secure PG medical seats.

Evidences like cheques and bank cards were seized from them. The management of Manipal Printing Press, which printed the test paper, and the higher authorities of the NTR University of Health Sciences were also being questioned.
