Global chip-making company Intel is going to launch a Ph.D. companionship programme of Rs 5.7 lakh to market research in India. A neighborhood of Intel's plans to encourage teaching and innovation, the companionship programme is to be initiated for the tutorial year starting July 2014.
The Intel Ph.D. support programme will offer analysis chance for college students in innovative technology and a platform for allocating business awareness and mentoring from senior technology leaders at the chipmaker, the corporate alleged during an unleash to news agencies. Chosen candidates will be awarded a fellowship of up to Rs 5.7 lakh for tenure of up to four years and includes student regular payment, contingency analysis and a tour funding to attend conferences and analysis forums. The programme can offer the simplest in business fellowships, analysis travel grants and contingency grants to choose students, it added.
